Official register and documentation of prisoners of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
PURPOSE OF CREATING THE REGISTER
Systematization of disparate archival data, eyewitness testimonies, and historical documents to create a unified, publicly accessible electronic database of prisoners of Nazi concentration camps.
For searching relatives, preserving historical memory, and providing a documentary basis for researchers, historians, and also to counteract the forgetting of the tragedies of the Ukrainian people during the Second World War.
